WordPress Recurring Donation Plugin

A one-time gift is helpful. A recurring gift is transformative. FundCollector Pro lets your supporters commit to monthly or yearly donations and gives your team the dashboard to manage them without leaving WordPress.

Why recurring donations change the math for nonprofits

Predictable income is the difference between firefighting and planning. When a portion of your monthly fundraising arrives automatically, you can budget for staff, programs and growth instead of starting from zero each campaign.

Donors benefit too. A $10 monthly gift feels easier to commit to than a single $120 contribution, even though the annual total is the same. Recurring giving lowers the psychological barrier and tends to increase total annual contribution per supporter.

How it works in FundCollector Pro

Recurring donations run on Mollie. When a donor chooses a monthly or yearly frequency on the donation form, FundCollector Pro creates a Mollie subscription tied to that donor's payment method. Mollie charges the card automatically on the agreed schedule and notifies WordPress through webhooks.

Each renewal becomes a new donation record, linked to the original subscription. Your reports, donor profiles and email notifications all stay in sync. You do not need to reconcile anything by hand.

The subscriptions dashboard

  • Active subscriptions list with donor, amount, frequency, status and start date.
  • Live statistics: active subscriptions count, monthly recurring revenue, yearly recurring revenue.
  • One-click cancellation from the admin side when needed.
  • Renewal emails for both donor and administrator on every successful charge.
  • Failure notifications when a renewal fails so you can follow up.

The donor experience

The donor sees a simple choice on the form: one-time, monthly, or yearly. After completing the first payment, they receive a confirmation email that explains the recurring commitment and how to contact you to change or stop it. There is no separate donor portal to learn — the experience is intentionally low-friction.

What you need to enable recurring donations

You need FundCollector Free (from WordPress.org), FundCollector Pro and a Mollie account. PayPal alone does not power recurring donations in FundCollector — recurring is the part of the stack that lives on Mollie.

Setup time is short. The Pro getting started guide walks through the Mollie keys, the recurring toggle and a test subscription end to end.

Pricing

Recurring donations are part of FundCollector Pro at $59/year for up to 2 sites. There is no separate "recurring add-on" to buy and no per-transaction surcharge from the plugin. Mollie's standard fees apply on each charge, paid directly to Mollie.
